...the best blog in the world.
vel- i mean, Welcome.
alright. welcome to s.e.a.k. it's basically short for sam, em, aisling and kaitlin. and according to dictionary.com, the word seak means "soap prepared for use in milling cloth," which is exactly what we're all about. if you can't read this writing, then your eyesight sucks. get glasses. anyways, we are four friends who decided to write a lame ass blog because we have nothing to do over the christmas break anyways. and if it looks as if the entries aren't in chronological order because of weird times, it's because sam and em are in canada and me and aisling are in belgium, and well, yeah, time zones.. and remember to post on our gorgeous tag board! oh and i made the layout. anyways, enjoy

Okay, sorry about ditching the site, Kaitlin.
Anywho, I went to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory last night which kicked so much ass. Johnny Depp is so awesome. He still even managed to look hot in it and I loved his hair. And googles. And hat. And personality. And lines. EVERYTHING!
Anyways - just six more days until I go to my cousins wedding in Tennessee. I can't wait - and we're going to Disneyworld in Florida while we're there. *thumbs up* I'll be sure to put loads of pictures up for you guys to see. Kickass eh?
Anyways, I'm bored. I've been completely wasting my summer hols by sitting around the house doing NOTHING. And now I only have a month left till...*gulp* grade ten. Fuck.

kaitlin - hmph

doesn't everyone hate it when this blog totally dies for about a week? maybe more? no one posts anything. not even on the tag board. pfft. people! i know you're out there! ...well not only have sam, em, and aisling seemed to have vanished, but my mom as well. and my boyfriend. where the hell is everyone?? oh well. i just had the most fucked up dream. it involved bands playing in one of the high school computer labs, where one of the lead singers was a little black kid who was called river cuomo (without the S, but almost exactly similar to the name of the lead singer of weezer; rivers cuomo), tornadoes, befriending dakota fanning, flirting with jack (one of my boyfriend's good- and might i add, attractive- friends), flirting with my boyfriend himself, going on a field trip to historical monuments and shite with about four other people, and having to jump off (or climb down, which would have been impossible) one of those historical monuments, which happens to be an extremely tall building. saba and fredericke could jump off the building without even a scratch, and that was where i freaked out for some reason, and then woke up. weird. hmm.. well i'm suspecting Unknown (on our tagboard) is aisling. dont know why though.

kaitlin - did y'all miss me?!

yo. i'm back from florida. was quite cool. there was a hurricane, but no one died. except for some dude who drank carbon monoxide from his generator or something weird like that. did lots of shopping. noticed that most girls my age living in america look and dress like clones. and that there really should be a limit or a warning or something to how much american candy someone eats. ick. enough oreo ice cream. and that they play commercials on tv literally every five minutes. i've also learned several things. like how most windows in florida are "hurricane proof" and that even mosquito repellent does not work when you go to everglade city. they will get you. and that there are about five of the same pharmacy just on one measly island. same goes for subway. except there are about 50 subways, instead of five. plane rides really suck. especially when they're six hours long. i didn't have a window seat either, which made it even suckier. the person in front of me kept bugging me by putting their seat really far back and also refused to just sit still. i was extremely tired, and at one point i did actually end up falling asleep, but woke up about three seconds later from someone coughing. stupid coughing people. urgh. air plane food is also rather gross. and all i wanted was to sleep but they just kept coming with more food and drinks. we had about three meals in six hours. i just wanted to sleep. i didn't want to eat sterile, tasteless air plane food. i also hate having a drink just sitting there when i'm not thirsty. too paranoid it'll spill when there's turbulence or something. that would suck. my ass really hurt too. i had to sit on a pillow, but i ended up flattening it out. it was one of those shite air plane pillows whose only use are to make your hair static. my batteries also ran out, so i didn't have anything to listen to for the last two hours of the ride, which was when i started getting impatient and just wanted the freaking plane to land. urgh. well eventually i got there. got reunited with my dog, who couldn't come along to the states. i'm not gonna lie, i wanted to cry. she's so cute. i still haven't read the sixth harry potter, let alone bought it. would've been a bit more excited about it had the fifth one been a little better. but apparently this one is quite good, so i will read it. eventually. not really looking forward to the fourth movie though. so far, all of them have been shite. i dont trust those kids. they're horrible actors. especially daniel radcliffe. ick. he can't even pull off an expression. he just sucks. and yes em, i did break up with dean. i'm sure i told you, i even remember the moment i told you. you said, "yeah. i heard." booyah. anyway, i think i'm done. so feast your eyes with- no not dean, oh god ew- with.. my dog!

hehe.
..and who the hell is Unknown?

Samantha - My opinion of Star Wars Episode III
Thursday, May 26, 2005 - 07:11 p.m.
First things first, before you get the wrong impression from Kaitlin's post, know this about Star Wars Episode III : Revenge of the Sith - It sucks. A helluva lot too. Seriously, this isn't worth your money and it's the biggest dissapointment - except for Episode II - to a SW fan. The ONLY good things about this movie are as following: 1.) Ewan McGregor as Obi-Wan Kenobi (How the hell do you get Ben from Obi-Wan?! That was the crappiest alias [if it was intended to be one] ever.) Because frankly, unlike Hayden Christensen, you can't go wrong with the Ewan. 2.) The scene where Chewbacca hoists Yoda onto his back. That was possibly one of the cutest scenes in the history of cute scenes. Had there been Ewoks involved (and not in the sense of a grand, master orgy), I would've died from an overdoe of cuteness. 3.) The part where Anakin wakes up from his trippy "prophetic dream" (yeah, whatever.) about Padme. Why, you ask? Because of the fact that he's shirtless and uber yummy. Of course when I think back, I see him all
SPOILER ALERT! DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN THE MOVIE AND DON'T WANT TO HAVE THE ENDING RUINED FOR YOU! burned and mangled and limbless - of all his limbs, mind you - writhering in pain - and on fire. I'm so glad that Obi-Wan kicked his whiny, selfish ass. It was torture watching Hayden attempt to act throughout the movie. The way I see it, Obi put both the citizens of the Universe out of misery as well as the audience. END SPOILER!
Okay, so yeah, that's pretty much all I have to say. My rating is */*****. ONLY because of the previously mentioned reasons. :) Other than that, I could've spent my 2 and 20 minutes elsewhere - like seeing Kingdom of Heavan.

kaitlin - STAR WARS! STAR WARS!! WOOOO
Saturday, May 21, 2005 - 09:32 p.m.
has anyone else seen episode III yet? ohmygod! it was freaking awesome! where do i start? ok so, me, my sister and my mom went to the premiere on wednesday. some major fans at school like martin and heather went to the premiere at midnight, and ended up getting home and falling asleep at 3 in the morning. well it's worth it if it's seeing star wars ep III. so anyway, we were at the premiere and i saw some seventh grader who i've only seen around school, and alex s. with a bunch of high school jocks. we ended up sitting in front of a group of annoying men who thought it would be funny to sing the darth vader music every time they thought the movie would start. their imitation of die-hard star wars fans was a bad one, seeing as star wars doesn't even start with that theme. they're dumb. and we also sat directly behind a scruffy, unkempt belgian man who ironically looked a lot like a balding wookie. originally it would have been cool if there was a chewie look-alike sitting in front of me, ignoring the fact that he was balding. the bad part was that i have never met (or smelled) anyone with a worse case of B.O. it was fucking torture. lois asked my mom if she has anything that could magically get rid of that odour. she had some hairspray... well, better hairspray than this horrible waft of sweaty air. so anyway, we stayed as inconspicuous as we could with our hairspray, and (sadly) didn't spray it directly on this man's unwashed head. we just sprayed it all around us. didn't help as much as we hoped. during the rest of the movie, the cinema (or at least where we were sitting) smelled like a horrible combination of too much hairspray and A LOT of sweat. anyway, the movie started (just before those horrible people kept humming the darth vader theme song, then bursting out in laughter) and yeah, it was.. awesome. can't say too much, seeing as sam and em still haven't seen it.. what kinds of fans are you?? so yeah, hayden christensen was awesome. to emily, you do NOT know gorgeous until you've seen hayden christensen. and if you still don't know gorgeous, then you should be shot! ewan mcgregor was cute too, but he still doesn't beat hayden. natalie portman was super pretty, but her acting was very blah. i hope i'm not giving too much away, but when you first see darth vader wearing his mask, it's fucking intense. and general grievous has to be one of the coolest characters in this movie. i loved the light-saber fight between him and obi, would have been cooler if it had dragged on a little longer though. ok, i will shut up now before i give away too much. i hope i haven't ruined it for you by saying it's FUCKING AWESOME.

Samantha - SPAM
Sunday, May 15, 2005 - 10:49 a.m.
Okie-dokie. S.e.a.k. is so lonely, it sucks that we all lead such boring lives that we CAN'T EVEN POST HERE! Bah. Erm, basically I'm suppose to be working on my geography ISU - that's worth 15% of my grade, mind you - but I really can't be bothered to right now. .....so lazy, I know, I've just decided to spam s.e.a.k. Okay, um, I watched 'Girl With A Pearl Earring' last night - I loved it. I kinda wished Griete had gotten with someone in the end - gah! Otherwise, it was really good. Execpt the little girl (?), from 'The Others' was in it, but she looked like a little boy so for like 45 minutes, I actually thought that she was a boy...Crazy, androgenous hair-do.

Emily
Thursday, May 5, 2005 - 05:00 p.m.
Okay- so, I dyed my hair....again, but, I really love it this time, it's really dark, it looks almost black but then you see it in the light and it's like....RED! ooooooooo yeah. So, anyways, both Sam and I were made Assitant Captains for the Soccer team (cause only a Grade 10 could be captain) but still,it's cool. DANCE KIRBY DANCE! :::::<('')>::::::(v''v):::::::<(''<)::::::^('')^:::::::(>'')>::::::::::(?.?):::::: Sorry, but, I'm obbssessed with doing that cause, I used to play Kirby games back when everyone had N64...speaking of game systems...PS3 comes out this month (i think) and supposedly, the graphics are like- 1000 times better! PHWOAR! Isn't that totally insane!? But- in a good way. Okay, so, the other day, I bought a Giant Pixie stick! It was soooooooooo good, seriously- it was orange and sour and obviously, pure sugar!I got it at this awesome candy store called "Sugar Mountain" (my kinda place) and they have such awesome stuff there- like The Beatles vintage lunch boxes, and it's all pretty cheap. Anyways, thats about it...byebye

kaitlin - i have a rather agressive boyfriend..
Tuesday, April 26, 2005 - 08:47 p.m.
listening to: the clash
wowzers. i haven't posted in a while. it's a record. 23 days. so what have i missed.. well, happy super-belated birthdays sam and em, you are finally fifteen. you fogeys. (yes aisling- i know, it's fogey and not "foe-jee"). and emily mentioned cake in her birthday post. yum. cake. i want cake. not pizza though, just had it, and it's gross- only because i just ate some. i have that with most food. apparently em still doesn't like dominic monaghan. well i shouldn't expect her to learn the right thing when she moved to a country full of canadians (canada)... I WAS JUST KIDDING! please don't kill me... hmm.. scrolling through the tag-board comments here... let's see.. oh! MATT DAMON IS BACK! haha. em, how's that uh.. greenhouse effect project going!? uh ah uhm.. ok. what's new with me, you ask? (or don't ask, i dont know). well today dean was excessively flirting with me and "accidentally" pushed me down the stairs. "DON'T FALL DOWN THE STAIRS!" he nudged me, and, well, i fell. emily came to the rescue though. (other emily, not maclean... wouldn't that be cool if em came to the rescue?!) well, sort of. she gave me my pencil that fell out of my bag, aw. dean picked the wrong time to push me down the stairs so i could hold a grudge against him because he won't be at school tomorrow anyway. is going on that ypres field trip. remember that trip? man that was so much fun. remember when all you went into the tunnel thing, i didn't know there was an exit on the other side, so i waited for about ten minutes for you all to come out because i didn't want to go in myself because i was wearing converses that would inevitably get my feet wet? meh. should have gone in anyway. that was also the trip where we watched that movie with bruce willis, ian holm, luke perry, and gary oldman.. the fifth element... probably one of the funniest shitty movies i've seen a while. seriously, that movie was funny. yay em! i'm listening to "spanish bombs"! (song by the clash.) you like that song, eh? hmm.. was looking through victor's cell phone today. he lent it to me in exchange for my cd player. for borrowing my cd player. there was this text from karolina's boyfriend saying that he was going to fuck his girlfriend on victor's couch next weekend. aisling knows what i'm talking about. was quite funny. but.. oh ew. i shouldn't be writing this on the internet but- ok i dont really have an excuse. uh.. backspace button doesn't work..? and now, for the best website IN THE WORLD!! (not really) well at least it's got a jesse mccartney video on it, and a bad picture of dean.

Samantha - Another Saturday Night At The Movies
Saturday, April 9, 2005 - 10:36 p.m.
Listening to - Into the Stars [Live Arrangement Version] by OLIVIA (Lufkin). Okay, so tonight, in celebration of my VERY UPCOMING birthday - my parents treated me to a movie. I chose to go and see "Sahara". I thought - okay, Steve Zahn is in it - and I've totally loved him since forever (since I first saw "That Thing You Do" - haha, 'looks like Lenny's goin' fishin'') so I had wanted to see it. (Plus Matthew Mac...whatever - I can't spell his last name - is really hot ans Penelope Cruz is kickass). And this movie....WAS SO KICKASS! So yeah, the critics hated it..blah, blah, blah but it was actually really entertaining - especially Steve Zahn <333 - sure, a little short of dialogue but otherwise it totally exceeded my expectations of it. Totally unbeleivable - but what action film isn't? - and somewhat predictable - and I say it again, what action film isn't? - this movie rocked. Steve Zahn was such a comedic genius. In the words of my Mum - "he looks like a squirell" - but I think she meant that in the most complimentary and nicest way possible about his facial antics...Matthew Maccounohay..(however you spell it - I just did it phonetically - hooked on phonics anyone?) made a really good Indiana Jones-ish character. The only letdown was Penelope Cruz's lack of a part. She's way too good an actress to be the sidekick of a sidekick. She had a part in the beginning but then her character just sorta dwindled into nothingness.....in a bikini.

Aisling
Thursday, April 7, 2005 - 05:00 p.m.
Hello there. Aisling here. Kaitlin too. We just saw Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (title is way too long) . . . good movie. Jim Carrey was good in it, very different from normal. Probably our favourite Canadian, eh?
I have nothing to say. That's why I never post here. I am NOT boring, Kaitlin. OK, I'm off to do my bio (finally . . .) maybe it'll shame Emily into doing it (hint hint hint). Bye bye.

Samantha - Cookies!
Wednesday, April 6, 2005 - 08:30 p.m.
listening to : Funny Bunny by Ellegarden. Em bought girl guide cookies today *munch munch* There's nothing like girl guide cookies. They're like...the image of purity and innocence. And chocolate-y goodness. Mmmmm. *munch munch* Besides the cookies nothing else of amazing importance has happened lately - since the last posting except....it's my birthday in 5 days! Get those birthday wishes ready bizznatches!

kaitlin - nine foot tall mutant radioactive dutch girls with beards kick ass!
Sunday, April 3, 2005 - 12:16 a.m.
listening to: stereophonics
the killers are a great band. really. they're awesome. there's this new band called the bravery, and i haven't heard any of their music or anything, but, because i'm sort of close-minded, i'm not planning on it either. apparently they're unoriginal because they ripped off the killers, and they're also assholes because they dissed.. the killers. yeah, i should get over the killers. it's not like they're my life or anything, and i shouldn't take it personally- well i'm not taking it personally. i'm just sort of annoyed that the bravery just.. sucks. i found this mp3- it's an interview with some dude and the bravery, and they talk about the killers, and how brandon flowers is pissed off because they sound too much like them. so right click here and go to "save target as" to open it. trust me, it's not a virus. i'm not an idiot. anyways, at one point, this bravery dude is like "well there's the one guy that's like nine feet tall. he looks like a little dutch girl with a beard. but like a nine foot tall dutch girl, like a.. mutant radioactive..." ok, so that's kind of funny. but what the fuck is he trying to say? and is he trying to diss dutch girls? ack! and the guy that says "he should relax" at the end.. i swear, it's FEZ FROM THAT 70'S SHOW! man, i love fez. i love that show. and there's this rip-off called that 80's show. but it sucks. all rip offs suck. the bravery is a good example.

Emily
Wednesday, March 30, 2005 - 07:52 p.m.
I saw the shittiest movie the other day- Mulan 2. Now, that movie is a joke (considering the first one was so completly cool). I mean- there wasn't even a fighting scene! So, yeah, by now you're all probably wondering- What the hell, isn't Mulan about a butt-kicking anarchist from feudal China!? Yeah, thats what I thought too until the second movie where you find out SHE SUCKS! And then Shang (the love interest who was a pretty cool character in the first movie) barely looks human! (that sounds weird I know cause he's animated but...he looks like a non-human thing!) So- he creeped me out a lot. Then get this- the songs were shit! I mean, usually Disney can come up with half decent songs but in this movie, only 3 songs and one of them was a rip off from one of the original songs except they added stupid stuff like "Pass me my hankey!" I mean- I don't think even little kids get a kick out of this stuff! Grrrrrrr, killed me.

aisling, you know the math teacher at school, mr tibbits? everyone talks about how, apparently, he's really hot. well, he used to be a pro football player too. click here- it's a link to one of the many websites he's on. if you google his name, he's all over the internet. you can even find a few pictures of him in "images"! i dont see why everyone thinks he's so amazingly good looking. he just looks.. average. anyways, in belgium, we have TWO WEEKS OFF. HA to canada. but you know, honestly i dont really care about this break. i'm bored. and everyone else is busy. all i did so far was go to the movies with dean. oh that was awesome. not the movie- seeing as we saw miss congeniality 2... IT WAS A JOKE! it's not like we thought "oh hey, miss congeniality 2 looks pretty good. let's see that." it was more like "jesus. there's nothing else on and we've been wanting to see a movie together for almost a month, lets just see miss congeniality 2." anyways, we had fun, i guess. but i hated how a little bit before the movie was over, dean said, "a total waste of one and a half hours!" i had to remind him when it was over that "it wasn't THAT much of a waste.." hmm.. found a totally hilarious picture of usher..
god i hate that guy. standing there trying to look all sexy... it doesn't really work when you've got your pants around your ANKLES. well actually it doesn't really work to begin with, even with his pants on. hmm.. he's just very annoying. and has a big nose. and me and sam both agreed that his abs are ugly. and that guys shouldn't have abs. they're too damn freaky! and in sam's words, guys should just be "average-y". sam and em- make a mental note to yourselves, write this on your hand, or your FOREHEAD, or something... GIVE SARAH OREGANO!

I had...a crap day yesterday. Tech class is really freaking me out. We have to work in "the shop" with all these big machines that cut peoples fingers off in a snap (Ms. Goebel decided to share her shop horror stories about her ex-construction/carpenter buddies who are now blind/DEAD!/missing limbs! So anywho, to get into the shop, you have to pass a test...about cutting up wood (who the hell comes up with this?!?) and you can go in the shop to work until you've passed. So I've, simply decided to fail the test. I have to take it everyday until I pass - but I won't! Bwahahaha, who's a smart cookie now?!

listening to: the killers (i'm getting a little obsessed..)
ok. dean isn't an asshole. i was just pissed off that he had to call me so late to tell me he couldn't go. i was really looking forward to the date and i wanted to see him because i was having a shit weekend. but you know, he can't really help not being able to go, and i know that he wasn't lying, because he likes me too and he's really not an asshole. maybe next weekend, eh? i wanted to go.. *pouts* oh well.. ok so my weekend sucked so far. it'll finish off with a shitty day of doing homework. woopdeedoo! aisling, i still haven't started the bio project. did research and everything, but still need to start the actual slide show. grr i really don't want to present in front of the class. i'll end up laughing just because i'm not allowed to.. does anyone else ever have that? and i always get too giddy around the wrong people. just annoying obnoxious people who don't deserve to have their jokes laughed at. also dean. but he's not annoying and obnoxious... sometimes. there's this downloading thing i have on my computer called soulseek, and you can, you know, download stuff, and also talk to other users. so there's this dude and he's like, "you took some of my files, but you're files aren't shared." it was right after dean called me, so i was sort of pissed at everyone. so i just said, "i do not speak english." "do you speak german? ..deutsche?" [however the fuck you spell it.] i didn't reply. then he started talking to me in german and i didn't know what the hell to say and i think at one point he said something like "fine. i'll leave you alone." so i said "ok" because it was sort of getting funny. then he called me an egoistic pig... didn't reply. at least he left me alone. haha. anyways, that was uh... very odd. yeah, the highlight of my wonderful day!
